The 14^th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering

The 14^th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (14^th WCEE) was held in Beijing, China from October 13 through 17, 2008. Chinese American Institute of Engineers and Scientists sent a delegation to attend the Conference as suggested by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction of the People’s Republic of China. It is a part of CAIES program in response to the disastrous SiChuan Earthquake on May 12, 2008.  CAIES delegation consists of Shek Chiu, Paul Lui, Kelvin Pong, Tony Cho and Larry Lam.
